The small nail smithy on the premises of the Museum of Metal Crafts is a reconstruction that shows the half-timbered and earthen construction of the 19th century and gives an insight into the old craft. A variety of nails were handmade in a small space and with simple equipment. Even today, nails are still forged in the nail forge according to old craftsmanship during show forging demonstrations.
